
In 2018, Holly joined Zepparella, the ultimate all-female American Led Zeppelin tribute. Founded and formed in 2005 in San Francisco, California, and currently touring nationally. The current line-up consists of lead vocalist Anna Kristina, guitarist Gretchen Menn, bassist Holly West, and drummer Clementine Moss.
In 2020, she started fronting a powerful three-piece called Dead Groove Band. Adding her rich rock pipes and solid bass grooves with dynamic vocal melodies and cogitative lyrics. The band’s debut record will be released on March 31st, 2023, under the label Rock Avenue Records USA. They are also signed to the booking agency Atomic Music Group and will start touring to promote their new record in April 2023.
Holly is a longtime Fender player and currently plays an all-Fender setup in Zepparella and while recording. From her first guitar to the last amp she purchased, it has always been Fender for her. Currently, she owns a Fender ‘62 Jazz bass with a custom neck, a 72/74 Fender Musicmaster bass, and an ‘08 American Standard Fender jazz bass. Her cabinet and amp combo of choice is a Fender Bassman 810 Neo 8x10" bass cabinet and Bassman 800HD 800-watt hybrid bass head.







Holly West
Holly West is a musician currently living in Los Angeles, California. She is the lead vocalist and bassist in Dead Groove Band and the bassist for Zepparella. She is also a music instructor and acoustic artist.
Holly has spent her career playing with various acts around Dallas, Texas, and Los Angeles, California, while touring abroad frequently. Her time on stage has been well spent, developing an impressive attack, an impeccable feel, and a technique that seems to have come completely naturally to her, not to mention her dazzling stage presence and joyful performance style.
In 2017, Holly released her debut EP called MOKITA. She enlisted guitar wizard Gary Hoey and the impeccable drummer Brady Blade (Jewel, Dave Mathews, Beth Heart) to play on this stellar EP, which was mixed by Chris Bell (The Eagles, Erykah Badu, Kenny Wayne Sheppard) and mastered by Gavin Lurssen (Foo Fighters, STYX, Queens Of The Stone Age). Alongside the four original songs that made it to this EP, she included a cover of the Led Zeppelin classic "When The Levee Breaks."
